What is Channl, and how does it help creators?

Channl is your space to make money on your own terms. Sell memberships, products, and fan experiences—all under your brand, without algorithms getting in the way.

Yes! You can start for free. Want more tools and customization? Upgrade anytime.

How does Channl differ from other monetization platforms?

Unlike other platforms that focus on only a few things—subscriptions, links, newsletters—Channl gives you everything in one place. Sell memberships, products, and fan experiences, all while fully owning your brand and audience. Your Channl is fully customizable, so visitors feel like they’re in your space, not ours.

Channl lets you sell memberships, digital and physical products, and fan experiences—all in one place, fully branded as yours.

You’re in control. Set your own prices for memberships, products, and exclusives based on what works best for you and your audience.

You can request payouts directly from the Creator Portal under the Payouts tab. Your first payout will establish how you get paid for future payouts unless you reach out to us directly to make changes.

- Processing Fees: Credit card fees of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction will apply. Be sure to factor this into your pricing.

- Exclusives & Physical Products: Channl takes a 15% revenue share on each sale.

- Print-on-Demand: The 15% fee is based on the cost of the item, not your sale price. So if a shirt costs $10 at base and you sell it for $15 or $50, the fee stays at just $1.50.

- Memberships: Also subject to a 15% revenue share. When pricing memberships, considering this and the credit card fees, we recommend creators set their lowest paid tier starting at $5 minimum.

You have multiple ways to communicate with your audience. Use community posts to share updates with your members. For direct communication, send mass or individual emails or SMS text messages (SMS available for members who provided their phone number). No algorithms deciding who sees what—just direct access to your fans.

Do fans get notified when I add new content?

Yes! Members receive email notifications and can check updates directly on your Channl. When creating a post, you’ll see a checkbox labeled 'Notify members about this post'—this is selected by default. If you don’t want to send a notification for that post, simply uncheck it. This is helpful for creators who post frequently and prefer to notify members only for important updates.

How do I update my payment or account settings?

You can manage your payment details and account settings in your Channl Creator Portal under the Account tab.

Yes! Add your Channl link to your social media bios as your link in bio and share it in posts to drive traffic and sales.

Yes! Channl allows you to embed content from platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Bandsintown. If you’d like to use an embed code that isn’t working, send a feature request to support@channl.com and we’ll look into it!

Yes! Channl was built with a mobile-first design, making it easy to manage your Channl and engage with your audience or make changes on the go.

Can I schedule content to go live at a later time?

Yes! When creating a post, you'll find the option to schedule it for a future date and time. Once scheduled, you can still edit the post until it goes live.

Can I track where my traffic is coming from?

Yes! Channl provides analytics that show where your visitors are located and which sources are driving the most traffic to your Channl.

Offer your fans autographed memoriabilia, such as posters, set lists, signed 8x10, drumhead.  These can be bulk items or one of a kind treasures.  We have inventory controls, so set the inventory to 1 for those items and we set the price to "Sold Out" automatically after your invnetory reaches 0.

Offer this for pay for for free.   Connect with your fans in a safe group setting.  You can chat or even play a song for them.  Some artists use this type of experice as a listening party.

After this item is sold, we can supply the fans with a unique Zoom or Google Meets link.    We can even paste that link in the experiece and send it with their receipt.
